  • Blessings in a Backpack

    Join us in packing bags of kid-friendly, non-perishable food to be sent home with Jenner students every Friday to ensure that no child goes hungry over the weekend.   Learn More

  • Civil Rights Service Trip

    Our service and civil rights trips bring members together to rebuild homes devastated by national disasters.   Learn More

  • Fighting Hunger

    Help feed those in need of a warm meal. Volunteer to cook and serve dinner on the 3rd Sunday of the month.   Learn More

  • Jenner School

    Volunteer to serve as a Classroom Aide, speaker at Career Day, chaperone for a field trip or to help with one of our special projects. Whether it’s an hour here and there or a more regular time commitment, there is a place for you at Jenner!   Learn More

  • Mitzvah Weekends

    Support Chicagoans that are most in need with one-day projects taking place at the synagogue and around Chicago.   Learn More

  • National Rebuilding Day

    Join us for a Saturday scheduled in the spring to assist a homeowner with needed repairs, painting and minor landscaping.   Learn More

  • Reform IL

    Reform IL, a project of the the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism, is working to collectively organize the Jewish Reform movement and other interested Jews in the Chicagoland area and state-wide to build a more just and compassionate Land of Lincoln for all.   Learn More

  • RefugeeOne & Refugee/Immigration Activities

    Want to have real impact on the lives of refugees and immigrants here in Chicago? Join us to teach English to the newly arrived, help a RefugeeOne family from a war-torn country resettle in Chicago.   Learn More

  • Ronald McDonald House

    An activity for all ages. Help cook and serve dinner to families with children in the hospital.   Learn More

  • Environment Initiative

    Join Sinai's Environment Committee working towards fighting climate change. Help us protect our planet for us and for future generations.   Learn More

  • Healthcare Initiative

    A decade-long advocacy initiative, supported by Chicago Sinai, resulted in the opening of Chicago's first community-funded public mental health center. Volunteers are needed to help with marketing and PR, grant writing and grass roots efforts.   Learn More
