Engaging our Religious School Teens
What comes after confirmation?
For high school teens, Sinai has pioneered two programs:
High school teens are invited to participate in the Mitzvah Corps. As a group, the teens volunteer in a variety of Mitzvah activities. It’s a great way to give back and build friendships with other Sinai kids. Former student and madricha, and generally all-around cool person, Hannah Letchinger, leads our Mitzvah Corps.
Consider becoming a Madrich/a (counselor)-- a role model to our younger religious school students. The program is open to students in ninth through twelfth grades. An investment in being a madrich/a is an investment not only in your Jewish life as a teen but also in the lives of all of our students, providing them a Jewish teen connection and continuing to influence younger generations to do the same.
