Chicago Sinai Preschool

The mission of Sinai's Preschool is to provide high quality early childhood education to our Sinai community and to the wider Chicago area by incorporating reform Jewish values and traditions within a broader, relationship-based curriculum.

Preschool classes are available for children two to four years old. Enrichment Classes

Sinai Preschool offers fantastic enrichment classes for children who are three to five years old.  These optional classes will extend your child’s day from 11:45 am – 12:45 pm, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and/or Friday. Including time for lunch at the beginning of the class, enrichment classes vary each session (fall, winter, spring, summer). Current and past sessions have featured soccer, dance, music, science, art, cooking, drama, construction, movement, and more.

Fridays at Sinai!

What better way to start the weekend than with a fun and exciting class on Friday afternoons focusing on Shabbat, holidays, and Jewish values? A mixed-age class that encourages children to build connections, be part of the Sinai family, and have fun!

New Moms Connect

Newborns (0-6 months) and new mothers
We will provide topics and experts relevant to mommy- and baby-hood in a friendly, relaxed setting where moms can be themselves and connect with other new moms in the Jewish community. Topics include: Infant and child development, sleep, changing relationships and more. For more information contact Fern Katz at 312-867-7010 or fkatz@chicagosinai.org. This program is made possible by a grant from jBaby Chicago, a program of the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago.

Music and Movement

Babies (0-2.5 yrs) and caregiver
These interactive classes bring music and movement to life! Live and recorded music, along with creative and traditional songs and fingerplays, are fun, stimulating, and developmentally appropriate for our youngest learners. Class sessions are approximately 10 weeks and taught by musician extraordinaire Sarah Parker.

Together with Tots’ hands-on classes are designed for you or a caregiver and your child to explore and discover the wonderful world of play and learning. Together, you will experience art, dramatic play, songs, fingerplays, and much more, all under the expert guidance of an early childhood educator. Our classes encourage relationship development and promote feelings of security and independence. Wear comfortable, washable clothes because we will be moving and getting messy!
