A SOLDIER'S THANKFUL E-MAIL
The following e-mail was received thanks to our efforts in sending much needed supplies oeverseas Mitzvah Weekend! The VMA-311 intelligence section has received the care package courtesy of the Chicago Sinai Congregation and are eternally thankful. We all are staying very busy out here and love to see that others appreciate what we are doing. We wanted to say thank you for sending the package and will put the contents to good use. FILM SERIES
Once a month we will watch and explore a different film, focusing on those that are both morally profound and engaged in issues of contemporary or historical Jewish concern.
TORAH STUDY
In the summer months, Torah Study meets on Saturday mornings at 10:30 a.m. Rabbi Moffic will lead a discussion of the week's Torah reading. Everyone is welcome, and no prior knowledge or experience is required.

Rabbi Sternfield is excited to announce some overseas adventures for Sinai members and their friends.
GENTLEMEN AT LEISURE: A PROGRAM FOR MEN 65+
"Gentlemen At Leisure" continues to meet at the Temple on the third Thursday of every month from noon until 2 p.m.
THE GRANDPARENTS CIRCLE
The Jewish Outreach Institute, which is a leading voice of support forinterfaith families in the Jewish community, hascreated a program called “The Grandparents Circle”for grandparents whose grandchildren are growingup in interfaith families.
SUNDAY SUPPER AT FOURTH PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH
We have a continuing commitment to help feed the homeless by cooking and serving dinner one Sunday afternoon a month at Fourth Presbyterian Church from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
BOOK GROUP
The year we will discuss "UNKNOWN AMERICAN JEWISH CLASSICS" We meet once a month at 3:00 p.m.
